1. How does what the doctor first say, on page 119, foreshadow Johnny's condition?
When the doctor first shadows Johnny's condition, he did it by telling the nurse "no visitors"

which kind of gave away the fact that he was in critical condition.

2. "We needed Johnny as much as he needed the gang. And for the same reason" (p.121). What do you think Pony means, and what is the reason?
What I think Pony means by this statement is, Johnny was always there for them in every way they needed him. He was always there for listing and for support. And in the same way that's why the gang meant so much to him, because everything he gave to the gang, the gang gave back. The reason being, Johnny had a difficult life, well; a difficult family life so the gang was his main "comfort zone" and his oasis away from things when they got tough and hard for him.

3. What does Pony mean on p. 123 when he says, "we could get along without anyone but Johnny"?

What Ponyboy means by this is, They wouldn't be able to get along unless Johnny was there, he calmed everyone down, and always thought positive which is something the greasers all needed.
He took there mind off things when they really needed to be cold off.

4. If Darry didn't have Soda and Pony, why would he be a soc?
If Darry didn't have Soda or Pony, he would be a "Soc" because he had the portrayed image of a Soc. He was smart enough he had the look he was clean cut and and he had the built.

5. What does Cherry mean when she says Bob "wasn't just anyone" on p.129?

When she said "Bob, wasn't just anyone" what she meant was he was different. He had something that made people follow him, something that marked him different, and maybe even a little better than the crowd.
